Canada’s Latest Express Entry Draw: 825 PNP Invitations Issued Today

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has just completed its first Express Entry draw following changes to the CRS points system. On April 14, 2025, 825 invitations were issued to candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

To qualify for this round, candidates were required to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum CRS score: 764

  • Profile submission: Candidates needed to have submitted their Express Entry profile before 6:35 pm UTC on August 17, 2024.

With the recent changes to CRS points—particularly the removal of points for arranged employment—this draw reflects a shift in the overall CRS landscape, making it an exciting time for Express Entry hopefuls.
